Upfield hiring a Business Development Manager – French West Africa.

Location: Dakar, Senegal

Reports to: Head of Sales, West & Central Francophone Africa

Your Role

The Business Development Manager-Future Markets is responsible for identifying and developing future markets-export Markets in West Africa

Main Responsibilities:
-Developing markets for eventual direct coverage
-Coordinate all the sales efforts in future export markets
-Guide trade investment & Support for new product listing
-Channel margins and customer profitability
-Customer relations management
-Input into SOP the demand numbers for the customers
-Ensure all orders are received and processed
-Customer payments are received and posted product availability on the shelves in these markets

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

-Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Administration or related field.
-Minimum of 7 years working experience within the Customer/ Business Development function in a FMCG company.
-Experience in Business Development in the West African Markets is a MUST.
-Strong experience in designing and managing processes.
-Experience in business planning, project management and customer -facing.
