DP World hiring an Infrastructure Electrical Engineer.
Job Purpose
Organize and schedule maintenance activities and operations;
-Intervene in the event of a breakdown in electrical installations by coordinating the teams;
-Propose solutions to optimize the safety and performance of equipment (monitoring).
Your main activities at DP World:
-Advise and train users on equipment electrical maintenance;
-Update technical data;
-Provide technical support to the Infrastructure Electrical team;
-Control the performance of suppliers and subcontractors;
-Maintenance management and reporting;
-Check, monitor and maintain equipment regularly (preventive maintenance);
-Detect the origin of a breakdowns, establish a diagnosis;
-Drafting of technical intervention sheets (maintenance file for electrical installations MV (30kv-6.6kv) and LV) and information;
-Participation in the improvement of maintenance procedures for MV substations / transformers / switchgears and LV panels;
-Installation of more efficient devices to increase the efficiency and longevity of the assets;
-Consider impact of costs on recommended action plans to avoid / correct problems during the design or maintenance;
-Develop engineering solutions to avoid failures and all other problems that affect electrical installation;
-Communicate with maintenance team and planning of the defect tasks to be performed;
-Check, monitor and maintain equipment regularly (preventive maintenance);
-Detect the origin of a breakdown, establish a diagnosis and analyse the root cause of all Electrical circuits;
-Advise and train users on equipment;
-Update technical data;
-Provide technical support to the team;
-Organize the periodic reading of electrical parameters for the MV cells, MV/LV transformers;
-Monitoring and analysis of the parameters recorded.
Job requirements
Diploma: Electrical engineering degree.
Experience: 4 to 7 years in HV and LV maintenance of industrial electrical installations.
Skills:
-Able to read all electrical drawings offering his input in case;
-Good experience with Schneider MV switch gears, ABB cells and transformers;
-Very good experience in MV control devices such as Micom, Ref…etc;
-Good experience in the maintenance of generators stations and building electrical circuits plus the ATS panels;
-Very good troubleshooting and planning skills;
-Management skills will enable to perform professional hand over from the external contractors;
-Able to lead the electricians’ team to perform EM, CM and PM for the MV and LV substations and panels;
-Caterpillar generators experience will be additional advantage.

-Good knowledge of Microsoft office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
