DP World Senegal hiring a Reliability Engineer.
Your responsibilities as a Reliability Engineer at DP World
-Responsible of Equipment Maintenance Quality, with a constant goal of increasing equipment availability and reliability;
-Originate and develop analysis methods and plan for determining reliability of components, equipment, and processes;
-Prepare diagrams, charts, drawings, calculations, and reports for defining reliability problems and makes recommendations for improvements;
-Conduct an analysis of reliability problems and investigate to determine the reliability required for a context, considering the cost limitations for equipment up/down time, repair/replacement costs and availability of materials/equipment;
-Determine the cost advantages of alternatives for developing action plans to comply with internal/external customer demands for reliable processes/equipment to avoid failures;
-Define and implement strategies to reach 100% of the PDM coverage in QC’s, RTG’s and mobile equipment, responsible to keep up to date PDM devices calibration, perform functional tests on the regular basis, prepare devices to be sent to manufacturer for calibration.
Main activities:
-Gather and examine basic reliability data from field studies or data base and correlate the data for analysis using well-defined engineering techniques/principles/procedures;
-Acquire data and analyse the data;
-Manage the Predictive Maintenance Program in the BU, consolidating inspection information and generating visualization of results;
-Initiate elemental engineering studies into equipment/process failures and present details of the analysis to more experienced engineers for approval/feedback for gaining in-depth experience and improving judgment for advancing to higher-level jobs;
-Assist others in root cause failures analysis to avoid future failures;
-Work along with other engineers and receive guidance in the use of standard company procedures for use of reliability analysis specific to the product/process;
-Follow company safety and health guidelines and other company policies;
-Consider impact of costs on recommended action plans for avoiding/correcting problems during the design phase or remedial action for correcting reliability problems on installed equipment; and perform root cause failure analysis to help prevent failures;
-Plan and perform engineering research, design development or engineering assignments including responsibility for major subsections of complex projects using general engineering practices influenced by the general theme of reliability principles;
-Follow company safety and health guidelines and other company policies;
-Manage the Failure Reporting and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) information, perform analysis following the process workflow and keep up to date the information to be analysed and build reports as requested by management;
-Develop engineering solutions to repetitive failures and all other problems that adversely affect equipment functions. These problems include capacity, quality, cost or regulatory compliance issues. To fulfil this responsibility, the reliability engineer applies data analysis techniques that can include:
-Statistical analysis,
-Reliability, Availability and Maintainability,
-Fault tree analysis,
-Weibull analysis.
-Participate actively in the PDM data analysis sessions;
